Sermon Discussion Questions—Ephesians 2:19-22 Part 2

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22 ESV)
Exposed – Have you ever been ‘exposed’ to your sin as Eric spoke of by the church? Were you grateful or angry? Is there any reason to be grateful?
One foundation – Who, according to these verses, is the church centered on?  What are the implications of that? What does it mean that Christ himself is present?
Building the temple – Are you comfortable with God building the temple(i.e. adding people to our community) who are different than you? How has he built it in the past? How can he build it in the future?
