ESL Update! Last Monday marked the start of our ESL Spring session! Praises: We have 12 new volunteers who are supporting our Monday and Thursday evening classes. So thankful for this group and their heart to serve our neighbors in this way! We have 31 students registered, and more than half of them are returning from last semester. It’s great to have camaraderie among students and teachers from the get go. Please pray that our new students will quickly feel connected to our community.
Remaining Needs: While our Monday and Thursday evening class volunteer needs have been met, we are looking for someone who is willing to train as ESL Bible Study Leader this Spring and then take over leadership of the study for the remainder of the year (Summer and Fall sessions). The Bible study happens Sunday mornings before the service. The study started with the purpose of spreading the Gospel while also helping ESL students improve their English, and it as a critical part of our program! If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to Obed Molina, firstname.lastname@example.org | 240-422-5383

SERVANT SHOUTOUT, by Jackie Black: Redeemer has a host of talents which our members and attenders use and give to bless the community. Adey Salyards (new member!) lends her musical talents of singing and playing (the guitar) on Sunday mornings. Our time of song and praise are a rich time as we gather on Sunday. Adey’s consistent serving the community is greatly appreciated as we glorify God through music – thank you, Adey!
