“Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.”
Your perspective might be different from the Psalmist’s. But this is why it is so important to remind ourselves of why we gather together.
We come responding to God’s gracious invitation to be with him. He invites us to not only be reminded of who he is, but to actually experience who he is. His nearness. His love and mercy. His power and glory. His presence.
So come ready to sing, hear from his word, and see the goodness of our God that we might be changed.
I will lead our times of singing and Eric will continue our study in the book of Galatians, preaching from Galatians 5:13-15
