Redeemer Weekly 7/16/2017

Redeemer Weekly: July 16, 2017 — SERVANT SHOUTOUT: Eliezer Gonzalez

Good morning! Please join us this morning for service at 10:30 a.m. at 716 S Glebe. Donuts and fellowship at 10 a.m. We are excited to welcome eight new Redeemer members this morning!

TODAY in Redeemer CM, kiddos begin a unit learning Jesus was the miracle worker; why learn about Jesus performing miracle? Because Jesus performed miracle to glorify God and prove He is God the Son. This week’s lesson is on Jesus’ first miracle.

REDEEMER SERVING NEED

Redeemer members! Over the summer we will be recruiting for our 2017-2018 CM year! We are excited for this area of discipleship and need 72 volunteers to ensure a safe and thriving children’s ministry – thank you to the 47 who have signed up! We are close but still have helper needs! Primarily for our our 2-3 year old class, these adorable, small thugs are a lot of fun! They have a short lesson to keep them steeped in Gospel song, dance, and story! Not ready for the thug life? We have three of classes: Preschool, K-2nd grade, and 1 year olds who also need helpers!

You can sign up to serve here – and as always ask Jackie any questions about children’s ministry!

SERVANT SHOUTOUT, by Jackie Black Summer shout out to our Sunday teams: One of the most smooth, silent teams of serving is our communion team. This group of people come in, set up and take down communion so we can participate in this sacrament weekly. Eliezer Gonzalez is the team lead who efficiently organizes the team, sends reminders, and handles supplies. His leadership ensures the communion team is ready to serve and it is so appreciated! THANK YOU, Eliezer (and happy early birthday!)
