Redeemer Weekly – 7/9/2017

Redeemer Weekly: July 9, 2017 — SERVANT SHOUTOUT: Sarah Mugg

Good morning! Please join us this morning for service at 10:30 a.m. at 716 S Glebe. Donuts and fellowship at 10 a.m. We are excited to welcome eight new Redeemer members this morning!

TODAY in Redeemer CM is BUSY with training this morning at 9 am and our Redeemer kiddos lesson is the parable of the wicked tenants. Jesus told this story to teach the religious leaders about Himself. God sent His own Son, Jesus, to earth but the religious leaders rejected Him. Jesus is the cornerstone—the most important One of all. Only He can save us from our sin.

REDEEMER SERVING NEED

Redeemer members! Over the summer we will be recruiting for our 2017-2018 CM year! We are excited for this area of discipleship and need 72 volunteers to ensure a safe and thriving children’s ministry – thank you to the 40 who have signed up! We are halfway there – for my Redeemer member parents, this is a friendly reminder to sign up! For my Redeemer members couples and singles – thank you for considering signing up… it is worth it :)

You can sign up to serve here – and as always ask Jackie any questions about children’s ministry!

SERVANT SHOUTOUT, by Jackie Black: There are some servants easily spotted and there are others who silently work behind the scenes. Sarah Mugg is a silent serving hero. As the projection team lead, Sarah has tirelessly worked with technology restrictions and software limitations to always ensure we have lyrics and Scripture projected. This is not a small task and she calmly works within the limitations but also seeks to improve where and what we can. Ask anyone on the projection team and they will share about Sarah’s gracious leading and support – THANK YOU, Sarah, for all you do for Redeemer.
