Good morning and Happy Advent! Please join us tomorrow morning for service at 10:30am at 716 S Glebe. Donuts and fellowship at 10am.

TOMORROW in Redeemer CM: We begin our two weeks of Advent, pausing from our time in the New Testament, to reflect and teach the lesson of Christmas. Tomorrow, children will hear how angels came to Mary and Joseph to share how Christ is coming in fulfillment of God’s promise.

LAST DAY TO VOTE ON BUDGET: Members, MONDAY is your last day to vote on our 2018 budget. If you haven’t voted already, you can vote here.

Budget Questions & Answers: Dale and Mike took time to answer the budget questions submitted by members. Members’ questions with Dale and Mike’s answers can be found here.

MINISTRY PARTNER SURVEY RESULTS: 18 members completed the Ministry Partner Survey in November. The majority of respondents affirmed our current ministry partners. Some respondents suggested other ministries for Redeemer to consider partnering with although those ministries don’t currently have members who actively participate in them (beyond prayer and financial giving). Thanks to all who provided feedback in the survey!

SERVANT SHOUTOUT, by Jackie Black: Over 2017, I have thanked children ministry point people (Dave Bann, Meredith Leal, Shawna Quezada, and Jim Riordan) but really, y’all – these people are my saving grace and sanity on Sundays. I want to shout and confirm these people are sacrificial, grace givers as they support our over 70 CM volunteers, calmly handle crisis, and laugh through chaos. They fix technical problems, resolve classroom ratio, find cleaning solutions, and hand out Cheerios.

However, more than keeping me from over 1,000 steps downstairs and donuts being a solid option for crowd control – these individuals dive into their role out of love and passion for our kiddos. They know if they care and support our volunteers, our kiddos have the best. The role of point person was created to empower volunteers which then impacts our kids. And Dave, Meredith, Shawna, and Jim nail that role – THANK YOU!
