TOMORROW in Redeemer CM – Kiddos continue to learn about the early church and spread of the Gospel (Acts 15:1-35). The church leaders met in Jerusalem to answer a tough question: Can a person be saved by faith alone or was something more needed? The early church agreed that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, He alone is all we need to be saved.
TOMORROW is JCG! – Junior Community Group (JCG) for 6th – 8th graders will be gathering from 12:30 pm – 2 pm at 701 S Wakefield St Arlington, VA for food, fun, fellowship, and discussion. RSVP to email@example.com

2018 Redeemer Volunteer Needs:
ESL: Do you speak English? Do you enjoy meeting people from different countries? Would you like to get to know and practically serve our South Arlington neighbors? If so, we’ve got the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We’re looking for a few new volunteer teachers and teaching assistants to join the ESL team. The spring session begins with registration on February 26th and goes through May 21st. There are opportunities to serve on Monday or Thursday evenings. You can learn more by attending a volunteer interest meeting on Sunday, February 4th after the service. We’ll meet in the K-2nd room from 12:30-1pm. Questions? Please email Katheryn at email@example.com.
Open/Close Team: This team opens (sets up) the space to welcome people! Volunteers arrive at 10:15 to put out signs and then tidy up after service – perfect for families to serve together which makes it go quickly! If interested in serving, please let Ben Seck know!
Welcome Team: Do you love Redeemer and helping and connecting people to why you do? The welcome team is looking for additional greeters as well as some individuals to help with newcomer events. It would be serving monthly, coordinating (playing host/hostess at the location it is held) the core seminars or newcomer lunches (every first Sunday of the month). If you have a welcoming smile and are interested, let Jen Whetsell know!
SERVANT SHOUTOUT, by Jackie Black: We were so blessed to love and minister to Sarah Scott’s family last Sunday – they were deeply appreciative and moved by how Redeemer loved their mother and grandmother. The reception held was an added care for them as they got to meet many who knew Sarah and share stories.
The reception was possible because a team of set-up and clean- up people! Erin Elliott, THANK YOU for letting me ask and lean on you as point person for set-up and clean-up. Thank you, Ben, Jean, and Ceci for helping – and even giving up being in part of service! Thank you, Carolyn for being a host to the family and coordinating a lovely tribute to Sarah. It is a privilege to partner with you all!
