“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!”
Joy should be a defining characteristic as we gather this Sunday to sing, study God’s word, and take communion. When we gather as the household of God, we experience a taste of the heavenly gathering, a faint but real picture of the power and effect of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is where people are united because of the blood of Jesus. This is where we worship our King and Creator. This is where lives are transformed and faith is renewed and people are saved. This is church!
This Sunday we have the particular joy of rejoicing in God’s faithfulness as we celebrate our 8th anniversary and install Paul Curtis as an elder.
Let’s come expectantly, with joy in our hearts. We get to go to the house of the LORD!
Listen to the songs we’ll be singing here.
