Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Psalm 96:1-6

There is a reason that we sing and worship the Lord each week. Psalm 96 tells us, “For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.”

He is the one true God, worthy to be adored and obeyed. He is worthy to be honored and feared.

Each week we come as sinners who have no right to approach him. Yet we come with confidence through the blood of Jesus. God invites us to experience the blessing of ascribing to him the glory due his name.

To help us prepare, here is a Spotify playlist of the songs we’ll be singing.
