Servant Shoutout by Jackie Black: We are BACK in our children’s ministry space – but with a learning curve as we share the space with Children’s Weekday Program (CWP)! Our third week CM volunteers took things in stride as we found supplies, learned new classroom set-up, electrical issues with lights – all while having a shortage of volunteers!
This was no small feat to pull off but they did – and that included Travis Shank jumping into teaching the preschool class! Thank you!
I have only heard praise from all about being back in our CM space… the one regret and plug is that we were short volunteers! Which meant we had to turn away kiddos from being in class. Each week faces this problem … Members, we are not at a full roster; and need 10 more volunteers to ease and ensure that classes are not closed due to safety ratios of kiddos to volunteers!
