Redeemer Weekly: November 4, 2018 — Clocks Fall back an Hour! — Servant Shoutout: Tina McMahan

Good morning! Please join us for coffee and donuts before our Sunday service at 10:30 am at 716 S Glebe Road!

REMINDER: Daylight Saving is Sunday, November 4 – don’t forget to set your clocks to fall back an hour!

Tomorrow in Children’s Ministry (CM): Kiddos, will conclude this second unit speaking to how God called a people to Himself (Genesis 25-26). God’s covenant with Abraham continued with Isaac’s family. Through Jacob’s family, God would send the promised Savior to bring blessing and salvation to the world.

Tomorrow – November Newcomer Lunch: With being back at 716 S Glebe, we will resume our monthly newcomer lunches! These are times for newcomers to have lunch immediately after service to meet Redeemer members and leaders! If interested with questions or to RSVP, you can let Kelsey Good know!

Budget Town Halls and Dec. Member Meeting: Members, our 2019 budget meeting will be on Sunday, December 2. Prior to the meeting, we’ll also have two town halls to discuss the proposed budget on Sundays, November 18 and 25!

Redeemer Serving Needs:

Children’s MinistryMembers! We still have needs for our children’s ministry! Deeply grateful for our current servants but they need support of additional teachers and assistants! Let Jackie know if able to serve!

Coffee Team Most of us love and need that coffee kick in the morning; Sunday’s included! The coffee team is looking for 1-2 more volunteers to serve once a month and ensure there is the precious fluid! Let Lynne Walton know if interested!

Servant Shoutout by Jackie Black: Staff and leaders have doing the prayerful work of planning our 2019 budget. This process includes reaching out to various serving teams to find out budget and needs for the coming year.

Tina McMahan the leader of the communion team shows why this team is the probably the most, quietly effective team. The communion team faithfully ensures we are able to take the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. Tina supports and plans for the team and promptly provided clear budget numbers and need projections. My administrative heart sung thanks! Thank you, Tina for how you lead and support the communion team as they serve Redeemer!

And psst! Communion cups can be recycled (hattip,Natalie O’Keefe) so please toss them in the blue recycling can!

Tomorrow’s Service: Eric Simmons will continue to lead us through Matthew, preaching from Matthew 28.

Sunday Morning Manager: Mike Icardi

Children’s Ministry Point: Laura Icardi
